No one owes you anything, life does not owe you. You need to realize that sooner than later. Stop talking about the future, rather start acting for the future. You future starts now.
One of the hardest things most people find difficult to do, is to separate with people. No wonder people keep useless people who pulling them back and slowing down their progress. There are people you should separate yourself from in order for you to realize the future you are dreaming about. Some people were great in your past but there are not good for you in the future. Step Up for your future. No matter how awesome your grade one teacher was , it came a time where you had to separate with him or her. The same goes for life, don't be stuck with an awesome person who is no longer of benefit now and in the future. Come on act for the future.
One of the bold steps l have ever taken in life was to reverse a mentor mentee relationship l had gotten myself into. I had asked one man (a Pastor) to mentor me, in less than a week l apologized and reversed the whole arrangement, l don't regret doing that. If that man was my mentor today, my life would have been destroyed by now. Don't get me wrong, the man was great in my past but not for my future. Right now he is a mentor to a number of people but he is not good for my future. I realized that very early and acted on it, even though my decision was not understood by my wife at that time and even by the pastor. What are you waiting for? Act now for the future.
